Kiosk is a semi-annual magazine featuring the best of art and literature from students at The University of Kansas. This edition was themed “Free Samples", playing off the idea that submissions are just a parcel of this persons’ portfolio. Do the samples we give the world show our true identity–or do we edit ourselves before revealing?
The type and art submissions were manipulated physically and digitally to hint at the false reality. Issues were printed with two cover colors and blue pages were folded in randomly to make each magazine unique and holographic foil stamping on the cover entices our reader.
